We here at KUET Alumni Association of Canada (KUETAAC) are a vibrant network of accomplished professionals, leaders, and innovators who continue to uphold the values and legacy of KUET beyond graduation.

KUETAAC fosters professional collaboration, knowledge sharing, networking opportunities, and mentorship for current students and fellow graduates. Through dedication, innovation, and integrity, our alumni continue to strengthen connections, support one another's success, and proudly represent KUET across North America.

Shaikh Faruk P.Eng., CET President Batch 1982 A well-known figure among Toronto Bangladeshi community. He has assumed several leadership positions within KUETAAC over the years.
Khaled Chowdhury MSc., MEng., PMP Vice President Batch 1996 Former Web Administrator, Organizing Secretary, General Secretary & Vice-President, KUETAAC. Currently he is working as a Senior Project Manager Development Review, City of Toronto. He was former Assistant Professor, CE, KUET. Living in Toronto since 2010.
Mohammed Shahid Islam, P.Eng, PMP Joint Secretary Batch 1988 Mohammed (Shahid) is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and self-directed and driven Project Management professional with a solid technical background. He has years of practical experience in managing small to large scale projects values from multi-million to multi-billion dollars.
Shams Arefin Cultural Secretry Batch 1996 Currently working at the City of Toronto, specializing in Networking & Project Management with PMP, PMI certification. He completed his M.Eng in Advanced Engineering Management degree from BUET.
Ashif Rizwan, P.Eng. IT Secretary Batch 2005 Network Engineer for 14 years on wireless operator. He completed his Masters Degree on Computer Network Engineering from Ryerson University. He is a registerd Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). He is also a professional photographer and a realtor. Living in Toronto since 2015.
Md Risul Alam Sports Secretary Batch 2004 He is working for Telus as Design Specialist II in IPCore Design and Operation. He loves playing football, cricket and online computer games.
Farhana Shirin, MEng., P.Eng. Women Affairs Secretary Batch 1998 Currently working as an Electrical Engineer at Transportation Building, WSP.
Atiqul Islam, P.Eng. General Secretary Batch 2003 He completed his MEng degree from Ryerson University. He is working as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Eam Mosca Canada Ltd. He has been an active cultural committee member in organizing social events over the years for KUETAAC.
Selim Hasan Organizing Secretary Batch 2003 He is currently working as Director of Information Security at GFL Environmental. He is a seasoned cybersecurity professional, a certified CISSP, Micrsoft Certified Security Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer, and PMP.
Shamim Reza Finance Secretary Batch 2005 He completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Calgagy. He is currently working as a Mechanical Designer/ Design Lead at Thinkpath Engineering Services Inc.
Naureen B. Shahjahan, P.Eng. Professional Development Secretary Batch 2005 She completed her Master's in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University, USA. Currently she is working as a Technical Reviewer in an Engineering Consulting Firm providing building services consultancy for several government projects. Living in Toronto since 2015.
S M Ashif Manjur Media and Publication Secretary Batch 2003 He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer for RBCx. Working as professional software engineer for 16+ years. When not coding, he loves to read books. He is Living in Toronto since 2015.
Sumon Kumar Biswas Social Welfare Secretary Batch 1996 He is a seasoned Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in IT and telecommunications. Passionate about delivering impactful projects. He specializes in planning, team leadership, and stakeholder management. Outside of work, he enjoys learning new technologies and spending time with his family.
